What is a Test Stay?
This is a requirement for all new dogs that want to stay with us. A test stay is comparable to a daycare day where we have you bring your dog/dogs in to stay with us for the day to make sure that they are comfortable here and around our staff. It is also a way for us to see if we think they will be a good fit. We do charge $35 for this first visit, as we dedicate a lot of our day to our brand new guests to ensure they are having fun and are doing great with every aspect of our day.
Do you offer grooming?
We no longer offer full grooming and only offer baths to dogs who are currently at our facility for boarding. We do not do baths for the general public and no longer offer nail trims as well.
Do we bring our own food? How many times do they eat?
All guests need to bring their own food. We feed twice daily unless additional feedings are needed at no additional charge.
Do you require pets to be spayed/neutered?
We do not accept any dogs that are intact. We require all dogs and cats to be spayed or neutered before staying with us.
What does my dog do all day?
All dogs go out 4 times a day for a minimum of 10-15 minutes each. Each dog, or family of dogs, gets one-on-one time outside with our staff to go to the bathroom and play. We are always in the yard with our dogs to supervise them and make sure they are safe at all times. We also have additional add on's available such as Yappy Hours and Nature Walks.
Can someone come visit my dog while we’re away?
Our opinion is that if a dog is visited by someone they know, they tend to think they are going home, which may upset them. From that point, they must start the adjustment process all over again, causing avoidable stress. We strongly recommend not having visits, and generally do not allow it.
We might get back from vacation a day or two early, so would it be a problem if we picked our dog up early?
That’s not a problem at all! We just ask that you let us know ahead of time that you’ll be coming early so we can prepare your dog appropriately for an early departure and have everything ready for you when you arrive without a wait time!
Can I bring their bedding?
Yes! Similar to the toys, we highly recommend bringing bedding you don't care about or will not be dangerous if shredded and ingested. We generally can start dogs out with their bedding, but if they start to chew at it, we will remove it from their kennel to ensure their safety. All dogs are provided indestructible cots to lay on regardless. We will not be liable for the bedding that you bring if your dog decides to destroy it.
Can I bring their toys?
Absolutely. We recommend Nylabones and harder chew toys, and strongly advise against bringing rawhide toys, or anything that can be easily broken into small pieces, or might become a choking hazard. If these items are sent we will use our own discretion whether the dog may have it in their kennel or not.
When you say you’re closed for a Holiday, does that mean there’s nobody here taking care of the dogs?
Do dogs get to go in large play groups?
We pride ourselves on maintaining a safe and stress-free environment for your pet to stay in. Because of this, we do not allow large groups of dogs to play outside with each other all day long.
We believe in giving dogs a structured day where they get both physical and mental breaks to ensure they are always happy.
With that being said, with permission from owners, we do occasionally have some dogs that are great matches and can let them play! It is a very delicate process, and sometimes we just don't have the right dogs to go together. It really is a day-to-day thing!
Do cats have to hang out with other cats free roaming?
Our cat room is completely separate from our dog kennel areas. Within this room we have 4 individual condos for our furry feline guests to have their own space. We do not let cats free roam this room so your kitty will not have to interact or see any other cats in the room.

We provide bowls here, so no need to bring dishes.
Vaccinations/Health
To protect all of our guests, we require the following vaccinations:
Dogs
Rabies
DHLPP
Bordetella (required every 6 months)
Cats
- FVRCP
- Leukemia
- Rabies
Vaccination records from your veterinarian must be provided at least 48 hours before boarding.
All dogs must arrive flea- and tick-free.
Canine Infectious Respiratory Disease Release
Canine Infectious Respiratory Disease, otherwise known as Bordetella or Kennel Cough, encompasses a broad range of respiratory illnessesthat dogs may be subject to during boarding. We require all dogs to be current on Bordetella every 6 months to try to protect dogs as much as possible. Yet, the vaccine is not total coverage for Canine Infectious Respiratory Disease or Bordetella because, as with all respiratory illnesses, there can be strains the vaccine does not cover. By having the vaccine it does tend to lower the severity of any infections, though. We do our best to keep all respiratory diseases out of the kennel by disinfecting with veterinary grade disinfection, but sometimes it happens despite our best efforts.
