EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY! We will now require the Canine Influenza Vaccine for ALL Boarding, Grooming, and Daycare dogs due to the recent outbreak of Canine Influenza in the surrounding areas. Canine Influenza is a highly contagious respiratory virus. Signs of the virus are coughing, sneezing, loss of appetite, discharge from the eyes and nose, and lethargy. Canine Influenza is a vaccine preventable disease. The vaccine is a two shot series. Dogs will get the first dose and two to four weeks later a booster dose. We want our clients to know we are requiring this because we care about the health and safety of your dog(s) and all the dogs who enter our facility. All dogs must have the 1st vaccine by September 15, 2018 and the 2nd vaccine by October 15, 2018. Please get your dogs vaccinated as soon as possible before bringing them to Daisy’s Pet Retreat. We will also not accept any dogs who are showing signs of Canine Influenza. We appreciate your understanding and patience as we implement this new policy.
